Hi! It's Jilly. During our trip to Baltimore we went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. The kids LOVED it! They said it was their favorite thing. Since we got home they've asked to go back several times. Michael said, "I want to go to that museum again, 'cause it was so cool. How can that guy take out his eyeballs?!"
It is a really cool museum. They have all kinds of interesting exhibits. The fun starts right in the lobby, with the World's Tallest Man!
Even the stairs are fun! Each step is a different note on the scale, like a piano.
You know I loved this...a replica of Hogwarts made out of matchsticks!
Everywhere you look there is some odd or amazing thing. Check out this tin foil T-Rex!
The Odditorium is full of amazing things. The kids had such a blast with all the hands-on exhibits. They loved the funhouse mirrors!
Ripley's also has this Mirror Maze, which is totally crazy! It is sooooo weird, but way awesome. We kept bumping into each other and ourselves in the mirrors!
The 3D movies were a lot of fun, too. The kids were laughing through the whole thing...even my biggest kid!
Later in the week we went to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. While we were there Emma said, "I want to go somewhere fun, like the place with all the mirrors and dragon that shoots out water that looks like smoke. That place was cool." I think that about sums it up!
If you have kids and want to take them someplace they'll be talking about for months, check out Ripley's Believe It Or Not! They have locations all over the US, so there's probably one near you!
