Have you ever been to the St. Louis Zoo? It is a pretty awesome zoo. And it's free!!
They have a lot of really neat, well designed exhibits.
I loved the landscaping throughout the zoo. It was gorgeous!
We really liked the sea lion exhibit. They have a tunnel you can go through and see the sea lions up close. One of the sea lions, Mia, was very interactive. Hubby and the kids would toss a brightly colored sweatshirt back and forth, and Mia would follow the sweatshirt!
The kids had a lot of fun on the playground in the children's zoo. The children's zoo normally costs $4 to get in, but the first hour the zoo is open the children's zoo is free. Woot woot! There are two slides, one of which goes through the otter pool! Watch out for the hungry,hungry hippo!
They have a bunch of the "good" big animals, too.
It was a nice place for us to stop and stretch our legs for a few hours!
