Have you ever heard of the ASTC Travel Passport Program? ASTC is the Association of Science-Technology Centers. Over 250 science museums all over the county have banded together to make visiting science centers affordable for families.
If you have a membership to a museum that is a member of the ASTC, you are able to visit all the other participating museums for free, or for a discounted price. Amazing, right?! My kids love science, so this has been such an awesome discovery. While Hubby is in med school and residency we can't afford to do a lot, so this program has been a huge blessing to us.
We visited both the Field Museum and the Museum of Science and Technology in Chicago.
We went to Sciencenter in Ithaca, NY.
We played at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore.
We visited the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery in Colorado.
We went to the Kirby Science Discovery Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
And, we went to our local Roberson Museum and Science Center.

Museum memberships make great Christmas gifts, too. We're actually buying one for Hubby's family's sibling gift exchange. Jaime, if you're reading this, forget you saw it! Go to Roberson Museum's website and check out their membership options. They are super affordable. Your membership will pay for itself after visiting just one museum. We still have lots of museums we need to visit with our membership!
Enter below for a chance to win! Good luck!
