Blueberry Picking and 80+ Blueberry Recipes
Hi! It's Jilly. Have you ever been berry picking? Here in New York there are different berries ready to be picked all through the summer. This year we went blueberry picking with some friends.
We've picked strawberries and raspberries before, but never blueberries. It was a lot of fun!
I love berry picking. It just feels like one of those perfectly summertimey activities!
And you have to test them as you go! The taste of fresh berries can not compare with berries from the grocery store. Yuuummmm...
We picked a lot of berries, so I put together a list of 80 awesome blueberry recipes to make with all our sweet berries.
Unfortunately, the kids ate all the berries before I was able to use any of these awesome recipes!! But, that's alright. Now I just have a great list of recipes to pin for next year's berry picking, right?!

Hi! It's Jilly. I have a couple of recipes to share with you today. After my run this morning I stopped by Price Chopper Supermarket and picked up a few things. With the kids home all day I've resorted to a lot of mac & cheese and chicken nuggets. I knew it was time to change things up a little!

S'more Chocolate Pudding- A Simple Pudding Snack {Plus Giveaway!}
Thanks to Kozy Shack for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own. For more info, see my disclosure policy.
Hi! It's Jilly. Sometimes things are crazy and you just need a little treat. Some people are all about the salty stuff. But me? It's all about the chocolate. I might have a problem. I'm just sayin'.
Luckily, Kozy Shack's chocolate pudding is made with simple, wholesome ingredients, like real milk and no artificial preservatives or hydrogenated oils. It's a good source of calcium and gluten-free, too! Niiice.
Now, usually this is my motto when it comes to pudding-eating.

Hi! It's Jilly. Summer is upon us, so that means it's...grilling time! I've always loved Mexican food, and that love increased when we lived in Arizona, where avocados, cilantro, and bell peppers are cheap! Now that we're out in New York I have to get my Mexican fix in other ways.

Fruit and Veggie Salsa
Hi! It's Jilly. Happy Cinco de Mayo! I loooove Mexican food, so any excuse to make some is fine by me! Today I'm sharing with you a yummy Fruit and Veggie Salsa recipe I came up with a few years ago.
I had to come up with something to take to a baby shower with only the stuff I had on hand, and this delicious salsa was born! It was the hit of the party and became a requested addition to future gatherings. So, make this Fruit and Veggie Salsa and wow your friends & family! ;)

With Spring sports in full swing, and Spring Break and Easter approaching, I need some new ideas for easy, light, and on-the-go dinners! Enter Kraft's Fresh Take. I found these with the cheeses at Walmart. They are a blend of shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, and spices. Pretty cool. huh?

Cake Batter Blondies {Recipe Contributor}
Hi, it's Jen! I blog over at The Arizona Russums when I'm not busy hanging out with my husband and our sweet little girl, Baby Z, studying for grad school, or cooking up dinner in the kitchen. I'd love for you stop by!
Do you want to make the world's easiest "homemade" dessert that's sure to please any crowd, young or old? If your answer is yes, then cake batter blondies is probably the recipe for you. Six ingredients, a bowl, a spoon, a pan, an oven. You don't even have to get out your mixer.

Honey Spice Bread {Recipe Contributor}
Hi, it's Jen! I'm a Seattleite turned Southerner who now dwells in the desert. I am a wife, new mama, and grad student. You can find me blogging about faith, grace, and adventure over at The Arizona Russums.
Considering I just pulled this honey spice bread out of the oven about an hour ago and half of it is already gone, I'd say this is a recipe worth sharing. It's perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a midday snack. Although we love banana bread around here, the flavors in this bread were a nice change of pace!

Hi, it's Jen! I'm going to be contributing recipes on Jilly's blog once a month, and I'm so excited to get to know y'all! You can get a peak into my life over at The Arizona Russums. Please stop by... I'd love to meet you!
I've made this recipe twice in the past two weeks. It's that good. One time I made it as a main dish, because I try to do meat-free meals every now and then. About a week later I made it as a side with pork chops. This is great way to sneak some veggies into a delicious dish. My sister-in-law doesn't even like broccoli at all and she loved it!

Delicious Crockpot Hot Chocolate
Hi! It's Jilly. Last year I started a new tradition for our family. It's called "Carols and Cocoa". On the Monday right after Thanksgiving we invite friends over to sing Christmas carols around the piano and drink hot chocolate! I feel like it is the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season. I love it! Yes, it can get pretty crazy with kids running around and hot chocolate getting spilled, but it's worth it to me.
Last year I had a crockpot full of hot water and cocoa packets out on the table, but that was such a mess! So, I decided to make hot chocolate in the crockpot this time. I made this one from Mrs. Happy Homemaker a few years ago, and it's really good. But, it is super sweet and I wanted to be able to add "mix-ins", so I decided to tweak the recipe. I also got inspiration from Heidi's Recipes. I ended up changing so many things that I figured it warranted posting the 'new' recipe!

The Ultimate Harry Potter Round-Up!
Hi! It's Jilly. You guys may or may not know this, but I am a HUUUGE Harry Potter fan! Seriously. It's kind of sad awesome.
The first movie came out when I was in college. I was able to see a sneak peek before it came out. My friend worked at a theater and invited a bunch of us to come see "this kid movie with a bunch of hype." Well, I loved it! After that I read the first book and I was officially hooked!
I reread the first five books while I was in the hospital with the kiddos, and read HBP as soon as it came out during those long hours sitting on the couch nursing after the kids were born. (that's Half-Blood Prince for those of you who don't know Potter-speak)

Caramel Pecan Cream Cheese Pie from Cornerstone Confessions
Hi! It's Jilly. Today's delicious recipe comes from Kathy at Cornerstone Confessions. I love linking up with her Titus 2 Tuesday linky party, so I was giddy when she agreed to participate in the Fall In Love With Fall Series! She's speaking my language with this awesome cheesecake recipe! Let's check it out!
If there is
one thing I will break my diet for every time, its cheesecake. I love me some cheesecake. But making it can take a lot of time and
work. Thus, I’d often rather take a trip
to the Cheesecake Factory to pick up a few of my favorite slices than bake it,
which is probably good for my diet because that would require a bit of a
travel.
However, I
have recently grown quite fond of this Caramel Pecan Cream Cheese Pie recipe
because…
1) It’s cheesecake!
2) It’s easy and fast to make!
3) It’s virtually a no bake recipe!
Besides all
that I really like the caramel pecan topping.
It reminds me so much of fall and the picking of pecans in my parent’s
backyard. All that to say, if you love
pecans and you love cheesecake, then this recipe is for you, but be forewarned–you
may have trouble stopping with just one piece.
Enjoy!
Caramel Pecan Cream Cheese Pie
1/4 c.
pecans, chopped
1/8 c.
flaked coconut
1 tbsp.
butter, melted
8 oz. cream
cheese, softened
½ c.
confectioner’s sugar
8 oz. Cool
Whip
1 graham
cracker crust
Caramel Ice
Cream Topping
In a small bowl combine the pecans, coconut, and
butter. Pour into a small baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes or until golden, stirring
occasionally. Cool.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until
smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour cream cheese mixture into graham cracker
crust. Sprinkle with coconut mixture.
Refrigerate 2 hours.
Drizzle with caramel just before serving. Serves 8.

Pumpkin Spice Latte from Kelsey at Poofy Cheeks.
Hi! It's Jilly. Today we have the sweet Kelsey from Poofy Cheeks visiting us and sharing a yummy, Fall-licious recipe! Let's dig in, shall we?
Hey! I’m Kelsey and I am visiting from Poofy Cheeks. I am so excited to be guest posting here on Hi! It’s Jilly with a Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe! A few weeks ago I had my first latte and I have been hooked ever since! As I watch everyone delighting in the fall weather I admit I am a little jealous. I live in Florida and it is still pretty hot here! I decided to take the lattes I have been enjoying the past few weeks and put a fall twist on it by creating a rich and buttery pumpkin spice latte. The smell, the taste and even the color are enough to make me think it is fall outdoors too!
For this recipe you will need:
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1 cup of whole or 2% milk
- dash of pumpkin spice
- 1 teaspoon of imitation butter extract (vanilla will work too)
In a saucepan stir the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until it starts to bubble. Add in the remaining ingredients and stir until heated through. Top with another dash of pumpkin spice.
That sounds great! I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but I bet that combo would be great added to some hot chocolate! Mmmmm... Gotta try it now!
I've really been enjoying our Fall In Love With Fall Series, and I hope you have been, too! Check out the rest of the series by clicking on the button!
OH!! I almost forgot to tell you! On October 1st (next Tuesday!! Eek!) I will be hosting a linky party to celebrate the end of our series! You can share all your fabulous Fall-inspired projects, recipes, fashion...anything Fall-ish you want! So, you'll definitely want to check that out!
Follow along on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest so you don't miss it!

Pumpkin Spice Bars from Alyssa at Kadydid Designs
Hi! It's Jilly. I'm super pumped to have my friend IN REAL LIFE Alyssa guest posting today. Everything in her Etsy shop is darling, and everything she makes is yummy! Happy to have this recipe of hers for my own personal use now. Mwahahahaha! Enjoy!
Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I blog over at Kadydid Designs. I blog about just about everything; recipes, DIY projects, regular mommy-hood and a bit about my Etsy shop. I've known Jillian for quite awhile (we became friends while her sweet family was living in Phoenix) and I am so excited to be sharing one of my favorite things about fall on her blog today.
One of my all time favorite treats to make in the fall is Pumpkin Spice Bars. I love using fresh pumpkin in them, and I end up making them way more than I should. But - it's fall, right? You've got to soak up all the pumpkin deliciousness while you can! (If you've never tried roasting your own pumpkins before, here's a quick "tutorial")
Preheat oven to 350. Line a 11x15" pan with foil.
Mix together:
2 c. crushed graham crackers or gingersnap crumbs
7 T. melted butter
1/4 c. sugar
Spread mixture into baking pan and flatten/smooth out to make an even crust.
(**Side note: I have used 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs, and it still works. So if you have little hands at your house that steal graham crackers like I have at mine, you'll be fine. Also. 7 tablespoons of butter is 1 tablespoon short of one stick, so I generally just use an entire stick of butter)
Bake for approximately 6 minutes; or until fragrant. Cool completely.
Then, mix together:
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Add:
4 eggs
1 can (15oz) pumpkin puree
1 c. vegetable oil
Pour on top of graham cracker crust and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely and frost with your favorite homemade OR store bought cream cheese frosting. Feel free to sprinkle with any fall/Halloween sprinkles, or just leave plain.
These are delicious and perfect to take to any gathering this fall!!
Thank you for sharing this awesome recipe, Alyssa! It looks so easy to throw together, and I bet it makes your house smell amazing!
