Baltimore: Ripley's Believe It or Not

Thank you Ripley's for sponsoring this post! For more info, see my disclosure policy.

Hi! It's Jilly. During our trip to Baltimore we went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. The kids LOVED it! They said it was their favorite thing. Since we got home they've asked to go back several times. Michael said, "I want to go to that museum again, 'cause it was so cool. How can that guy take out his eyeballs?!"

It is a really cool museum. They have all kinds of interesting exhibits. The fun starts right in the lobby, with the World's Tallest Man!

The Blurb Gift Center

Hi! It's Jilly. I've told you about Blurb books a couple times in the past. Well, I'm going to tell you about them again because they have a couple of great discounts going right now!

I don't know about you guys, but I've already started thinking about Christmas gifts. What better gift than a book?! Blurb has some great book ideas. Let's hear 'em!

There are a lot of gifts you could give this holiday season, but when it comes to something really meaningful, there’s nothing quite like the gift of a book you’ve made yourself. But before you start having visions of gluing and sewing together pages, check out the Blurb Gift Center.

Baltimore: Fogo de Chão - Brazilian Steakhouse

Thank you Fogo de Chão for providing meals in exchange for this review. All opinions are 100% my own. For more info, see my disclosure policy.

Hi! It's Jilly. While we were in Baltimore we wanted to go somewhere nice as a family for dinner. I was looking at restaurants near the Inner Harbor and squealed when I saw Fogo de Chão. It is a Brazilian Steakhouse, where they bring around meat to your table!

Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse. A wonderful and delicious dining experience! #restaurant #brazilian #fogodechao

My hubby and I had our wedding luncheon at a Brazilian steakhouse almost twelve years ago, so I wanted my kids to experience it. I knew Fogo was the perfect place to go for our nice family dinner!

Laundry Stinks...or Not + Purex Crystals Aromatherapy Giveaway!

The Purex Brand provided me with a sample of Purex Crystals Aromatherapy in exchange for a product review. however, all the opinions are my own. For more info, see my disclosure policy.
Hi! It's Jilly. As you know, we just got back from a two-week long epic road trip. While on our way home we stopped in Chicago and did a speedboat ride in the pouring rain. It was awesome! We had such a great time! But, we got soaked with no way to dry our wet clothes. Actually, I guess we could have dried them at my friend's house in Cleveland when we stopped there, but I totally forgot about the wet clothes in the trunk. Oops!

When we got home we had a bagful of nasty, semi-dry clothes. As you can imagine, they smelled disgusting. Luckily, I had a bottle of the new Purex Crystals Aromatherapy waiting for me to try out. Woot!

Baltimore: SeaDog Speedboat Cruise on the Inner Harbor

Cruise tickets were graciously provided by SeaDog Cruises, but all opinions are 100% my own.  For more information, see my disclosure policy.

Hi! It's Jilly. Hubby has been down in Baltimore for work since the beginning of March, so we decided to go down and visit him during Spring Break. We'd never been there before, so I was excited to explore a new city!

The first thing we did after we arrived was to go on a SeaDog cruise in the harbor. It was the perfect way to start our fun trip!

A SeaDog Cruise is the perfect fun family activity! #vacation #baltimore #cruise #innerharbor

As we got on the boat, they gave us a little bottle of water, which I thought was nice.

Visiting the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago

Hi! It’s Jilly. We met up with my Mom and sisters in Chicago for New Years, and while we were there we went to the Shedd Aquarium. It was SO awesome! Out of all the museums we visited, Shedd was by far our favorite! They have so many neat exhibits, and it’s all so well done.

The beautiful Shedd Aquarium in Chicago

They have a huge amphitheater, where they put on aquatic shows with beluga whales, dolphins, seals, and other animals. The kids loved the show, especially when the animals did their tricks. They even got to chat with one of the trainers after the show!

Stylin' With Kleenex??

This post was graciously sponsored by Kleenex, but all opinions are my own.
For more information, see my disclosure policy.

Hi! It's Jilly. Man, I am ready for this cold weather to be GONE and for Spring to arrive! It feels like my nose is running all the time, especially when walking to my classes at school. I'm reaching for the Kleenex all. the. time.

When I went to one of my classes, after walking all the way from my car in the cold, this girl said to me, "You need to blow your nose. If you don't blow your nose you'll get a cold." Uhm...I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. Never heard that one! I do know that a runny nose is annoying, though.

I have to make sure I keep a pack of Kleenex in my bag all the time! I really like these Kleenex Slim Packs. They don't take up a lot of room in your bag, and they keep the tissues neat and clean.

Love these fun Kleenex Slim Packs! Perfect for tossing in your purse or backpack! #KleenexStyle

Plus, they come in such fun colors!

Lovin' the fun styles and colors of Kleenex Slim Packs. Perfect for tossing in a purse or backpack! #KleenexStyle

Kleenex even has a brand spankin' new Kleenex Style Finder, where you can take a little quiz and see which of their designs matches your personality and decor the best. I love taking online quizzes! Kleenex put together this whole "Style Studio" to celebrate their 90th Anniversary. 90 years! Whoa!

I also like to keep some Kleenex in the bathroom. I liked the design on this box. I thought it was nice and "Spring"y. I nestled the Kleenex inside a long wooden tray, then added a jar of q-tips and cotton balls, and a little bottle of lotion. It makes the boring old bathroom look much cuter!

The new Kleenex box designs match my bathroom perfectly! #KleenexStyle

So, head over to Kleenex's website and find your #KleenexStyle!

S'more Chocolate Pudding- A Simple Pudding Snack {Plus Giveaway!}

Thanks to Kozy Shack for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own. For more info, see my disclosure policy.

Hi! It's Jilly. Sometimes things are crazy and you just need a little treat. Some people are all about the salty stuff. But me? It's all about the chocolate. I might have a problem. I'm just sayin'.

There’s something about the holidays—that warm glow from the fire, the fact that you actually get to spend time with your kids (or your friends’ and family’s kids)—that makes it the perfect time to curl up with the little ones in your life and read them a storybook. Reading a totally new, beautiful, amazing book with a child is a treasured holiday experience. And if you choose the right book, every time the child reads it alone in the future will bring back the memory of that time you shared.
